Iron plus Vitamin C by Vitron-C is a dietary supplement in the vitamin category. Vitamin C or ascorbate is a water-soluble vitamin found in citrus and other fruits, berries and vegetables. It is found as a form of ascorbic acid. It is an essential nutrient involved in the repair of tissue, the formation of collagen, and the enzymatic production of certain neurotransmitters. It is required for the functioning of several enzymes and is important for immune system function. It also functions as an antioxidant. Most animals are able to synthesize their own vitamin C.

In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center (1-800-222-1222) immediately. Not intended for children. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Warning: The treatment of any anemic condition should be under the advice and supervision of a physician. As oral iron products interfere with absorption of oral tetracycline antibiotics, these products should not be taken within two hours of each other. As with any dietary supplement, if you are on medication, pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
