What is Amipryd used for?

Amisulpride is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic schizophrenic disorders with: • positive symptoms (such as delusions, hallucinations, thought disorders, hostility, suspiciousness), and/or • negative symptoms (deficit syndrome) such as blunted affect, emotional and social withdrawal This includes patients with predominant negative symptoms.

Pregnancy There is only very limited amount of data from the use of amisulpride in pregnant women . The safety of amisulpride during human pregnancy has not been established.
