⚠️ Warnings
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of high blood pressure, cancer, Alzheimer disease, dementia, Parkinson disease, or esophagus problems, low blood volume, alcoholism, heart, liver, and kidney diseases, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• It may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or lightheadedness, do not drive a car or operate machinery and get up slowly from bed while taking this medication.
• Avoid alcohol consumption.
• Avoid abrupt withdrawal; withdraw gradually.
• Monitor complete blood cell counts, electrolyte levels, or fasting blood sugar levels regularly while taking this medication.
• Patient may develop with increased risk of neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) with the following symptoms: fever; stiff muscles; confusion; abnormal thinking; fast or irregular heartbeat; and sweating. If it is so consult with your doctor.
• Avoid contact with people who have infections.
• Drink adequate fluid; otherwise it may lead to dehydration.
