Tacrolimus - Indications, Dosage, Side Effects and Precautions

• Caution should be exercised in patients with heart, kidney or liver disease, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. • Patient may develop with increased risk of skin ‍‍‍‍‍‍​​​‍​​​​​​cancer; avoid exposure to sunlight. • Wear protective clothing and sunscreen with a high skin protection factor (SPF) to avoid sunburn. • Wear sunglasses avoid eye damage. • It may increase blood pressure; monitor blood pressure level regularly while taking this medication. • Patient may experience with the following symptoms: thirst, excessive hunger, frequent urination, blurred vision and confusion. • Avoid vaccination while taking this medication.
