This medication is an osmotic diuretic, prescribed for increased intracranial pressure, eye pressure, to maintain urine flow in kidney failure patients, and promotion of urinary excretion of toxic materials.
⚠️ Warnings
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of swelling, kidney problems, or heart problems, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• It may cause dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
• Monitor blood electrolytes, kidney function, lung function, heart function, and blood counts regularly while taking this medication.
