This medication is an anticholinergic agent, prescribed for prevention of symptoms of motion sickness such as nausea and vomiting, and recovery from anesthesia and surgery.
It is also used to treat certain types of muscle spasm problems (eg. Parkinsonism) and certain stomach or intestinal problems (eg, irritable bowel syndrome).
It may be used as eye drops in cases of eye inflammation.
⚠️ Warnings
•Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver or kidney disease, pyloric stenosis(obstruction at lower end of stomach), urinary retention, prostatic hyperplasia, psychosis, seizure disorders, ulcerative colitis, coronary artery disease, fast heart rhythm, heart failure, high blood pressure , elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Limit alcohol intake while taking this medication.
You should wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after using this medication.
