DAUNOMYCIN INJECTION

• Caution should be exercised in patients with heart, kidney or liver disease, bone marrow depression, gout, any allergy, who are taking other medications, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. • Patient may develop with increased risk of heart disease (myocardial toxicity), bone marrow depression and secondary malignancy (cancer); if it is so consult with your doctor immediately. • It may reduce platelet counts, which leads to bleeding; avoid injury or bruising. • Monitor complete blood cell counts, heart, liver and kidney functions regularly while taking this medication. • Avoid contact with people with infections.
