Alclometasone is a steroid medication prescribed to treat a variety of skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis, eczema, contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, and rashes. It reduces the itching, swelling, and redness associated with the disease.
This topical synthetic corticosteroid is recommended for corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses such as actinic dermatitis, kiss-type allergy and skin itch.
⚠️ Warnings
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of measles, chickenpox, shingles, viral skin infection, thinning of the skin, cutaneous tuberculosis (TB), perioral dermatitis, acne, rosacea any allergy, who are taking other medications, children less than 1 year old, during breastfeeding.
• For external use only; avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use on the face, underarms, or groin areas without your physician’s advice.
