Atazanavir - Indications, Dosage, Side Effects and Precautions

• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney problems or who are on dialysis, blood disorder, diabetes, heart problems or liver problems, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, ‍‍‍‍‍‍​​​‍​​​​​​children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. • It may cause dizziness or lightheadedness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. • Avoid sexual contact during the treatment period. • It may raise blood sugar level; monitor blood sugar regularly while taking this medication. ♦ Patient may develop kidney stones and/or gallstones ; if it is so consult with your healthcare provider immediately.
