( ARTG ) - Prevention of skeletal related events in patients with multiple myeloma and in patients with bone metastases from solid tumours. ,- Treatment of giant cell tumour of bone in adults or skeletally mature adolescents that is recurrent, or unresectable, or resectable but associated with severe morbidity. ,- Treatment of hypercalcaemia of malignancy that is refractory to intravenous bisphosphonate.

• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney impairment, anemia, low blood calcium, any allergy, who are taking other medications, thyroid or kidney disease, infection, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. • In some patients, this medication may cause jawbone problems. ♦ Patient may develop Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (ONJ) with the following symptom: gum lesions. If it is so consult with your healthcare provider immediately.
