Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Sedation:,For sedation of initially intubated adult patients during treatment in an intensive care setting. The use of DEXDOR by continuous infusion in these patients should not exceed 24 hours.,Procedural Sedation:,For sedation of non-intubated adult patients prior to and/or during surgical and other procedures.
⚠️ Warnings
• A skilled person who has enough knowledge in handling intensive care unit patients should administer this medication.
• Patient may develop with low heart rate, high blood pressure, sinus arrest, if it so either decrease the dosage or stop the medication.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart diseases, decrease in blood volume, diabetes, chronic high blood pressure, elderly, during pregnancy and lactation.
