This medication is a incretin mimetic, prescribed for type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise, either alone or with other medications. ⚠️ Warnings
•Caution should be exercised in patients with history of gallstone disorder, smoking, drinking alcohol, who is taking other medications, any allergy, stomach, heart, liver, or kidney problems, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Patient may develop with low blood sugar, weight loss and decreased appetite; monitor blood sugar regularly while taking this medication.
• It may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
