Norditropin

11 DESCRIPTION Somatropin is a human growth hormone (GH) produced by recombinant DNA technology using Escherichia Coli.‍​‍‍‍​‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍​‍ The protein is comprised of 191 amino acids and has a molecular weight of about 22,000 daltons. The amino acid sequence is identical to that of human growth hormone of pituitary origin. NORDITROPIN (somatropin) injection is a sterile, clear and colorless solution for subcutaneous use in ready-to-administer prefilled single-patient-use pens with a volume of 1.5 mL or 3 mL with a pH of 6.13–6.20.
