Elderberry+ Liquid Formula Kids by Flora is a dietary supplement in the herbal category. Sambucus is a genus of between 20 and 30 species of flowering plants in the family Adoxaceae. The various species are commonly referred to as elder, with the flowers as elderflower, and the fruit as elderberry.

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you 1) have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, or HIV infection 2) have an auto-immune disorder 3) have a liver disorder 4) are taking immunosuppressants. Do not use if you 1) have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder or 2) are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Discontinue use in case of gastrointestinal upsets, such as abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Diuretic effect may occur. Rare cases of severe allergic reactions have been known to occur; use caution if you are allergic to plants of the Daisy family.
