Omega 3-DHA by Womens Choice Pharmaceuticals is a dietary supplement in the omega fatty acid category. Omega−3 fatty acids, also called omega−3 oils, ω−3 fatty acids or n−3 fatty acids, are polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) characterized by the presence of a double bond three atoms away from the terminal methyl group in their chemical structure. They are widely distributed in nature, are important constituents of animal lipid metabolism, and play an important role in the human diet and in human physiology.

Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Warnings: Ingestion of more than 3 grams of omega-fatty acids per day has been shown to have potential antithrombotic effects, including increased bleeding time and INR. Administration of omega-3 fatty acids should be avoided in patients on anticoagulants and in those known to have an inherited or acquired bleeding diathesis. If you are pregnant, nursing, or taking any medications consult your doctor before use. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur. Not intended for use by persons under the age of 18.
