This medication is a corticosteroid, prescribed for arthritis, skin, blood, kidney, eye, thyroid and intestinal disorders, severe allergies and asthma. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Allergic Reactions - Anaphylactoid reactions and angioedema.
