For acute medical emergencies — chest pain, anaphylaxis, severe bleeding, suspected stroke — call 112 or 999, which dispatches to the Szpitalny Oddział Ratunkowy (SOR) at Wojewódzki Szpital Zespolony on Królewiecka. Non-urgent after-hours primary care is handled by the Nocna i Świąteczna Opieka Zdrowotna service, free at point of use for NFZ-insured patients.

Can I use a prescription from another EU country in Elblag? Yes. Cross-border e-prescriptions issued in countries connected to the EU's eHDSI network — including Germany, Czechia, Finland and several others — can be dispensed in Polish pharmacies on presentation of an EU identity document. Paper prescriptions from EU/EEA prescribers are also honoured if they meet Directive 2012/52/EU formatting requirements.
