PillsCard uses artificial intelligence to process, verify, translate and improve medical and pharmacy data at global scale. AI helps us deliver accurate, multilingual, up-to-date information — but every health decision belongs to you and your doctor.
We aggregate information about pharmacies, clinics, doctors and specialists from 239 countries. AI helps us clean, deduplicate and normalize addresses, phone numbers and opening hours; cross-reference active substances against authoritative databases (EMA, FDA, URPL, PubChem); validate and refresh outdated entries; and flag inconsistencies for human review.
PillsCard is available in 42 languages. AI helps maintain medical-terminology consistency across every language, runs regular quality audits that detect translation drift, and surfaces gaps for human editors. Medical-critical content receives additional editorial review before publication.
AI helps us understand search queries in any supported language including informal phrasing, match symptoms and conditions to relevant reference material, and rank pharmacies and clinics by relevance, proximity and data reliability.
AI works in the background to keep PillsCard accurate and fast — detecting broken links and stale data, monitoring page performance, identifying anomalies before they reach users, and supporting accessibility improvements.
We pick the right tool for each task and are not tied to a single provider. The model families we use or actively evaluate include:
| Claude | Anthropic |
| GPT | OpenAI |
| Gemini | Google DeepMind |
| Llama | Meta AI |
| Mistral | Mistral AI |
| DeepSeek | DeepSeek |
| Grok | xAI |
| Perplexity | Perplexity AI |
| Cohere | Cohere |
Model choice depends on accuracy, latency, language coverage and data-residency requirements.
